My client, a fast growing Global Retailer, is now looking to hire a 6-12+ PQE ESG Lawyer or Commercial Lawyer with ESG experience to join their legal team in West London. Reporting into the Head of Legal, this is a unique opportunity to join this fast growing Global Retailer at an exciting time in its growth.

You will play a key role in advising the business on legal and regulatory risks and your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising the business on legal, governance and ethical subjects
  • Supporting the business on sustainability and compliance with ESG reporting
  • Advising on product compliance
  • Drafting and reviewing ESG related commercial contracts
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to manage ESG and regulatory matters

The ideal candidate will likely have 6-12 years' PQE as a Commercial Litigator or Regulatory Lawyer, with some ESG experience who is either working for a leading law firm and looking to make their first move in-house OR you will have already moved in-house, working for a leading corporate advising them on all things ESG and regulatory. My client would also consider a commercial lawyer who has ESG experience.
