Katherines Primary Academy is looking for a Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner to join our successful team. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting. If you are looking to further your career, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for an effective role model with high expectations who motivates pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of the Early Years Framework and have worked in an Early Years setting previously. They must hold a Level 3 qualification.
The successful candidate will be expected to plan and run small group work and must understand EYFS outcomes. They must have a passion for making a change in young people’s lives.
Experience and Qualifications- Experience of working with young children in Nursery and Reception and enthusiasm to motivate children and build on their successes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and emergent understanding of Key Stage 1 Curriculum and how young children learn; ability to contribute to planning.
- Ability to assess children accurately and contribute to their learning journeys.
- Experience of working collaboratively within a team to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- Ability to share expertise, knowledge and understanding of children’s needs and achievements with parents and staff.
