Due to a substantial number of ongoing contracts (nationally) within the Commercial / Retail sectors, we are now looking for Plumbing and Heating Engineers to become part of the mechanical team within a growing company.
The successful candidates should ideally have experience of working in the Commercial / Retail sector. Due to the nature of work, working night shifts, weekends, and away from home will be required.
The Plumbing and Heating Engineer will be expected to have over 3-4 years installation experience of working independently on plumbing and heating systems used in the Commercial / Retail sector and completed a formal apprenticeship (NVQ).
The Plumbing and Heating Engineer will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:
- Installation of sanitary wear and waste systems.
- Installation of hot and cold water systems.
- Installation/removal of kitchen sinks etc.
- Installation of POU water heaters, hydroboils etc.
- Installation of copper, plastic, steel pipe and fittings including jointing methods.
- Installation/alterations of heating systems.
- Ability to work from drawings.
- Experience in working with gas is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- CSCS Card (Trade specific)
