A warm and welcoming family based in Surrey is seeking an experienced domestic couple who love children and animals to work alongside existing staff. This is a long-term, live-in position for a discreet, hardworking, and upbeat couple who enjoy working as part of a team.

Housekeeper / Cookâ

Working alongside the House Manager, responsibilities include:

• High-standard housekeeping throughout the family home
  
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe and linen care
  
• Care of fine furnishings and household contents
  
• Preparing healthy family breakfasts, lunches and suppers
  
• Menu planning, shopping and kitchen organisation
  
• Preparing the house for guests and entertaining
  
• Assisting with household pets and the smooth running of the home
  

Groundsman

Responsibilities include:

• Daily care of horses, alpacas, chickens, peacocks, sheep, dogs and other animals
  
• Dog walking and maintenance of paddocks and shelters
  
• Estate maintenance, fencing, repairs and handyman duties
  
• Grounds maintenance including mowing and seasonal clearance
  
• Care of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  
• Monitoring estate security and infrastructure
  
• Liaising with contractors and caring for the estate during family absences
  

Requirements

â ¢ Strong team players essential with a flexible and positive attitude

â ¢ Discretion and reliability are essential

â ¢ Two drivers required

Accommodation:

â ¢ Self-contained cottage provided

â ¢ Pets welcome but regret not suitable for dependents

Working Hours

• Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility
  
• Preference for working Saturdays with a weekday off in lieu
