A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Cook Housekeeper to join a private household in South Kensington, recommended by the current housekeeper who is retiring after 16 years.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a beautiful home for a retired couple, ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organisation of the home
- Laundry and wardrobe management
- Cooking for the couple 2–3 times per week (good home cooking to a high standard)
- Occasional dinner party cooking (very infrequent)
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Travel to employers second home in California once per year (for a max 6 weeks)
- Separate top-floor flat provided for accommodation
- Driver preferred but not essential
- £40,000 – £45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
