A lovely client based in Highgate is seeking to employ a Live-in child-friendly Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their household, alongside supporting the care of their two daughters aged 5 and 7 years. The role will involve a combination of housekeeping and childcare duties within a well-supported household environment. The family already employs a cleaner, a cook and a nanny, so a strong team-player is essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- All general housekeeping duties to a high standard
- Keeping the household well-stocked, including shopping and supplies
- Occasional cooking
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Arranging activities and playdates for the children
- Occasional babysitting or supervision when required
The ideal candidate must be a confident driver, as a car will be provided for work purposes. There is no requirement for travel with this role. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 10:00am with a break during the day, followed by 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required for approximately 4 – 6 hours with evening babysitting. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided within the family home. The family are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong housekeeping standards, flexibility and a warm, child-friendly nature. A long-term commitment is preferred.
Salary offered is in the region of £40 – £45k gross per annum. The role is expected to begin as soon as the right candidate is found with flexibility for the right candidate.
