A lovely employer based in Gloucestershire (GL54) is seeking an experienced and reliable Live-in Housekeeper to join their household team and take responsibility for all aspects of housekeeping and domestic support.
Duties will include:
- General housekeeping
- Laundry
- Fabric pressing
- Assisting with service duties
- Welcoming and serving guests
- Supporting the chef in the kitchen
- Carrying out airport runs
- Completing household errands
The successful candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team, able to follow direction, and willing to report directly to the chef. A full driving licence and own car are essential, although a car will be provided for work-related duties.
The ideal candidate will be pet friendly, as the property is home to dogs, chickens, geese, and ducks, and should enjoy being around animals.
The role is offered on a live-in basis and includes a one-bedroom cottage with all utilities provided. Pets and a partner are welcome; regrettably, no dependants can be accommodated.
The working hours are Thursday to Monday, 8am to 4pm with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. A salary of £40k+ gross per annum is offered for this position depending on experience. Start date: September, with a handover period with the current housekeeper.
