An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly capable Live-out Personal/Private Chef to join a private family based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious family meals for the principal's wife and their two children, aged 6 and 4, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner. There may also be occasional requirements to cater for guests.
Candidates with a Michelin-starred or Rosette-level background are preferred, but this is not essential, provided they have excellent culinary skills and experience preparing fresh, healthy, family-friendly cuisine.
Duties will include:
- Menu planning
- Online food shopping
- Food preparation and cooking
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, organised and well presented at all times
The family employs both a nanny and housekeeper, so the successful candidate must be a confident, discreet and a team player, comfortable working as part of a household team.
A full driving licence is essential, and candidates must live locally to Kidlington due to the live-out nature of the position.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working approximately 7am to 5pm/6pm, with weekends by prior agreement. The salary is £70k+ gross per annum, depending on experience. Role to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.
