Housekeeper/Cook and Maintenance Gardener/Security couple sought to look after principals part time residence in a beautiful village just outside Oxford. Lovely, calm & quiet family weekend house used only 20-25 weekends a year. No formal entertaining but would suit a Housekeeper who enjoys cooking and has a love of food.

Duties include:

  • All cleaning and housekeeping
  • General garden maintenance (tractor mowing etc.)
  • Basic maintenance and management of contractors

This UK family is fair and friendly, with grown-up children who enjoy the country on occasional weekends. Previous couple employed for 12 years!

Role is 5 days per week, working weekends when principal in residence with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. From a security standpoint, it is preferable that the majority of nights are spent on the estate. However, occasional time off away from the estate can be arranged as needed.

Private self-contained two-bedroom flat with private entrance & use of a car for work is provided as staff accommodation (all bills covered). Pets & children welcome. Proximity to local schools and town is good. Car for work is included.

Salary negotiable according to experience & skills, around £80k gross pa. Role to commence as soon as possible.
