This is an excellent opportunity to work in a recently refurbished five-bedroom property for a welcoming family of four with two boys aged 10 and 13 who attend boarding school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping to an exceptional standard, including:

  • laundry and ironing
  • caring for antiques

Additional duties include:

  • caring for the family's cocker spaniel puppy, including dog walking

During school holidays, occasional school or activity drop-offs may also be required, so a confident driver is essential. A car will be provided for work-related duties.

The employer is looking for a kind, trustworthy, organised and self-motivated individual who is flexible, able to work independently, and happy to take direction when required. Separate accommodation is provided in a newly refurbished, self-contained one-bedroom annexe with a private entrance. Partners are welcome. Regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated.

The role is 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with flexibility to be available later if required to meet the needs of the household, including occasional weekend working, for which time off in lieu or overtime will be provided.
