A warm and welcoming family based in the Cotswolds is seeking a live-in nanny/tutor to support the child-led home education of their bright and curious 4-year-old daughter. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educationally focused, fun, and engaging nanny who can deliver 2–3 hours of structured learning each day, alongside proactively organising enriching activities, local outings, and playgroups to support her social development with other children.
The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, and naturally nurturing, with a gentle approach and a genuine love of supporting young children's emotional and social development. They are looking for someone who can build a warm, trusting relationship and create a calm, happy environment in which their daughter can thrive.
The role would suit a nanny with a strong educational background, ideally with experience teaching children up to 10 years old; French or Spanish language skills would be a bonus. The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional babysitting, and includes travelling with the family for up to one month at a time.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and confident in sourcing local clubs and activities. All standard nanny duties are required, with additional support from a housekeeper for laundry. A driver is essential, and a car will be provided for work use. The family also has a small, friendly cockapoo, so a dog-friendly candidate is important.
Salary negotiable up to £60k gpa depending on experience. Accommodation is a separate one-bedroom cottage. The role is available to start as soon as the right candidate is found.
