An experienced and reliable Gardener/Handyman is required for a private property in Yeovil, Somerset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the gardens and grounds, including:

  • Mowing
  • Strimming
  • Pruning
  • Weeding
  • Hedge cutting
  • Using a variety of gardening tools and machinery

Chainsaw experience would be advantageous.

The role also includes general handyman duties around the property. The successful candidate must be dog friendly, as occasional dog walking and feeding will be required, along with feeding the chickens and cleaning out the chicken coop.

The employer employs a part-time daily gardener who will assist where needed. This is an excellent long-term opportunity, highly recommended by the current gardener, who has been with the employer for 25 years!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week (live-out).

Salary: £28k gross per annum, dependent on experience.

Start Date: End of December/Early January 2027.
