Compassionate and caring Live-in Housekeeper sought for a lovely private household near Swindon, Wiltshire, supporting an elderly principal in a beautifully renovated home set within approximately two acres of landscaped gardens.
A nursing background or previous experience working as a Carer would be an advantage.
Duties include:
- All general housekeeping
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Preparing wholesome home-cooked meals for the principal
- Some light caring responsibilities, including prompting and ensuring medication is taken as prescribed
It is therefore essential that the successful candidate has a kind, patient and compassionate nature.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role will include driving the principal to appointments and other engagements when required.
The position is based on a 5 day working week, with occasional weekend work required. Typical hours are 9am to 4pm, although some flexibility may be needed.
A lovely two-bedroom cottage within the grounds is provided as staff accommodation. Regret not suitable for pets or dependents.
