A warm and welcoming family based in Battersea, SW11, is seeking an exceptional part time Live-In Housekeeper to help create and maintain a beautifully organised, calm and inviting home environment, with the role initially based in Battersea (and later relocating to Weybridge). This is a long-term position for someone who takes genuine pride in transforming and caring for a home beyond standard housekeeping, with a strong eye for presentation, detail and thoughtful organisation.

The role involves maintaining an exceptionally high standard of housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation, keeping the home clutter-free and consistently guest-ready, and caring for delicate furnishings and materials such as marble, stone, wood, glass, porcelain, silver and specialist finishes. The successful candidate will also manage household supplies and help maintain smooth household systems.

Daily responsibilities include dog walking and general care of the family’s dog and cats, with a genuine love of animals being essential. The role also includes occasional support with entertaining, such as light food preparation, preparing the home for guests, and assisting during small gatherings to ensure the house is beautifully presented before, during and after events. Additional paid responsibilities may include flower arranging, indoor plant care, light gardening and seasonal planting, as well as additional cooking and meal preparation.

The ideal candidate is kind, trustworthy, discreet, highly organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a natural pride in creating beauty, order and calm, and a strong ability to notice and refine the small details that elevate a house into a welcoming sanctuary.

The position offers approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (primarily mornings), with weekends and evenings off and most afternoons free. Accommodation is provided in the form of a private bedroom and bathroom in Battersea initially, and later private living quarters at the Weybridge property, along with additional benefits including access to a car, bicycle and health club membership.
