A lovely private family based in Norwich is seeking an experienced and professional traditional Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to join their formal household. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a formal private residence and will be responsible for all aspects of traditional housekeeping, ensuring the home is maintained to an exceptional standard with care, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.

Duties will include:

  • All housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Ironing
  • Wardrobe care
  • Preparing the residence for formal occasions and entertaining

You must be a confident cook as cooking healthy fresh meals for the family daily is required. The family have dogs, so the ideal candidate must be dog-friendly and comfortable providing occasional pet and house sitting when required. A driver is not essential.

This is a live-in position with working hours Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm with 1h break. A salary of £47k gross per annum is on offer depending on experience. A separate two bedroom cottage with its own private garden is provided. Please note that no pets, partners, or dependants can be accommodated. The role is due to commence in September or as soon as the right candidate is found.
