Duties include all housekeeping and general maintenance and upkeep of the house and grounds. There is 1 part-time gardener employed and others added as necessary to assist. When the employer is in residence, some family style cooking (not dinner parties) may be required also.
Security is paramount so it is essential that someone sleeps in the staff accommodation every night (apart from holidays and booked time off when cover can be arranged). Staff accommodation is a lovely 3 bed cottage on the estate, all costs covered.
Working hours are generally Monday - Friday, 9-5, but when the owner is in residence, flexibility to work longer hours and occasional help at the weekend will be required.
