A professional family based near Marlborough, Wiltshire (SN8) are seeking an experienced and child-friendly daily housekeeper to help with the smooth running of their busy family home. The family live in a beautiful home in a peaceful rural hamlet. They entertain approximately every 4–6 weeks, so while the property is large, many of the rooms can be cleaned on rotation.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced, reliable, meticulous and organised, with excellent attention to detail and a positive, “can-do” attitude. You should be trustworthy, discreet and confident managing your time and duties independently, as well as being comfortable working around children and occasionally assisting with childcare.
Duties will include all general housekeeping and cleaning tasks such as tidying, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, ironing, changing bed linen, wardrobe management and generally ensuring the home is well maintained and runs efficiently. The role is Monday to Friday for 5 hours per day, paying ÂŁ20 per hour gross. A driver with their own car is essential (mileage paid for business use). The family are looking for someone who can offer long-term commitment and start as soon as possible.
