An experienced and proactive Housekeeper/Cook and Garden Maintenance couple is required for a much-loved rural weekend residence near Haslemere, Surrey, occupied by a friendly family of five with three school-aged children and a dog. This long-term position is ideally suited to a reliable, self-motivated couple with previous experience in a private household, who take pride in maintaining a home to a high standard and are confident working independently, as the property is primarily used at weekends and during school holidays.

A confident and capable cook is essential, with the ability to prepare fresh, healthy meals for the family and occasional guests, including simple breakfasts and Mediterranean-style dishes.
The Garden Maintenance partner will take full responsibility for the upkeep of the grounds and exterior, including lawn care (ride-on mower provided), hedges, trees, informal flower beds, terraces and driveways. Duties will also include swimming pool maintenance, general property upkeep and overseeing the security and smooth running of the estate.
Both candidates must be organised, communicative, dog friendly and committed to maintaining the property to a high standard at all times. Due to the rural location, at least one driver with their own car is essential. This role is 5 days per week with two midweek days off (typically Tuesday and Wednesday). A self-contained two-bedroom cottage with private garden is provided. Small well-behaved dog considered, no dependants, non-smokers essential.
