Daily ExperiencedHousekeeper sought for principals part time residence, Knightsbridge, London SW3

Reporting to: Household Supervisor / Head of Housekeeping

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Live-Out

Start Date: As soon as a suitable candidate isidentified, ideally before October 2026

The Role

Recommended role for an experienced, professional and discreet Housekeeper to join the household team of a private residence in Knightsbridge,London.

The successful candidate will be responsiblefor maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, presentation andorganisation throughout the residence, while working closely with the existinghousehold team.

The family is kind, respectful and discreet,and the household is well organised with clearly defined responsibilities,strong operational support and excellent communication.

KeyResponsibilities

• Full cleaning and upkeep of private rooms and communal areas to anexceptionally high standard.
  
• Correct care of delicate and high-value surfaces, including marble, limestone and wood.
  
• Wardrobe and closet management, including laundry care, garmentlabelling and organisation in accordance with the household’s cataloguingsystem.
  
• Laundry, ironing and pressing, including delicate and high-valuefabrics, hand washing and basic hand sewing.
  
• Packing and unpacking for the Principals and guests, with guestpacking/unpacking completed in their rooms and a target turnaround of 30minutes where required.
  
• Table setting and service support as required.
  
• Basic breakfast preparation, including eggs, coffee, juices andsmoothies.
  
• Grocery shopping and household errands.
  
• Monitoring household inventory, including stock levels, expirydates and food freshness.
  
• Care and maintenance of indoor plants and flowers.
  
• Feeding and washing the family dog.
  
• Recording and logging dry-cleaning and other outgoing items beforethey leave the property.
  
• Supporting the wider household team with other reasonable duties asrequired.
  

Experience& Skills

• Proven housekeeping experience within a high-end private residence,luxury hotel or yacht.
  
• Excellent wardrobe and closet management skills, including packingand unpacking for Principals.
  
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate use ondelicate surfaces.
  
• Confident use of washing and drying machines and professionalpressing equipment, including an ironing roll.
  
• Basic machine sewing skills desirable but not essential.
  
• Good knowledge of plant and floral care.
  
• Comfortable working around pets.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards.
  
• Good spoken English.
  
• Full right to work in the UK.

WorkingSchedule

When the Principals Are in Residence

• Flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday.
  
• One day off per week, wherever operationally possible.
  
• Working hours will vary according to the household’s requirements,so flexibility is essential.
  
• Any imbalance in days off will becompensated when the Principals are away
  

When the Principals Are Not in Residence

• Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.
