Domestic Couple – Caretaker/Security/Maintenance & Housekeeping/Cook

Location: Nr Petersfield, Hampshire

Salary: Circa £85,000 gross per annum (negotiable for the right couple)

Accommodation: 2 bed flat (No pets or children)

Overview: Experienced, reliable and flexible Domestic Couple sought to support part-time Hampshire-based principals with the smooth running and upkeep of their property. This is a hands-on, long-term role for a proactive and discreet couple who work to the highest standards and truly understand the meaning of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • For the Caretaker/Property Maintenance Partner:
    • Security of the property at all times
    • General caretaking and oversight of the estate
    • Light maintenance duties and coordinating with contractors as needed
    • Assisting the gardener with grounds maintenance
    • Occasional airport and local driving (drivers preferred)
  • For the Housekeeper/Cook Partner:
    • Daily housekeeping to a high standard (keeping the house guest-ready at all times)
    • Laundry and ironing
    • Cooking meals for the principals when in residence (informal home-style cooking preferred)
    • Running errands and supporting household needs

Working Hours

When principals are away: Monday-Friday, approx. 40 hours per week

When principals are in residence: Flexibility required, longer hours and weekend work expected (extra days taken in lieu during quiet times)

For security reasons it is expected that except during holiday periods or booked time off the couple will reside at the property.
