Animal loving Cook / Housekeeper sought for a retired couple based in Denham, Buckinghamshire. The couple enjoys a good level of family-style cooking, including some vegan and vegetarian meals as well as meat dishes. Cooking for occasional lunch parties (no dinner parties) is required.
The ideal candidate will enjoy cooking, be happy to menu plan with the employer, and handle food shopping and liaising regarding the online shop. Animal lovers are essential as they have 4 dogs and many cats. Walking and feeding the dogs (and cats) will form part of the duties.
A driver with their own car is essential. There are 2 part-time housekeepers employed, so being a team player is important. Light housekeeping duties will also be needed, along with a general willingness to help out where needed.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work occasional weekends, amounting to a 40-hour week. Accommodation in a 3-bed house with a garden is provided in the village, and council tax is paid. Partners, pets, and dependents are welcome.
