We are seeking a committed and detail‑oriented Donor Engagement Volunteer to help nurture and strengthen our relationships with supporters. This role is key to ensuring donors feel valued, informed, and connected to the impact of their contributions.

Donor engagement is a growing priority for KLS, but it's an area where we currently have limited dedicated capacity. This volunteer will directly support our CEO in stewarding relationships with the individuals and organisations who fund our work, ensuring donors feel genuinely valued and kept informed of the difference they're making. In practical terms, that means better acknowledgement processes, more consistent communications, and stronger long‑term donor retention. For a small charity like ours, that translates directly into more secure and sustainable funding, which underpins everything we deliver for communities in Battersea.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and engaging content.
  • Basic IT proficiency (e.g. email, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • An interest in the charity sector and community development.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, administration, or customer relationship roles.
  • Familiarity with donor management systems.
