Kateys Nursery and Preschool is a proud member of the newly formed Chalk Nursery Group, is seeking to appoint a Nursery Manager.
We are looking for a fantastic Nursery Manager to complement our first-rate team. As Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nursery. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and education, and fostering a positive environment for children, staff, and parents alike.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated early years practitioners.
- Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
- Monitor and maintain health, safety, and safeguarding protocols.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support the nurserys growth and development.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for early years education. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Level 5 or above is desirable).
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role within an early years setting, with a minimum of two years as a Nursery Manager.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and other relevant frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating environment for children.
