Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development, ensuring each childs individual needs are met. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and conducting regular risk assessments to ensure the well-being of the children. Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping detailed records and reporting to parents and senior staff to support individual learning plans. Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress, and work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure consistent care and communication. As a Nursery Practitioner you will have: A level 3 or above childcare qualification A passion for childrens education and care, and a commitment to inclusivity Good oral and written communication skills An ability to safeguard and protect children A flexible and can-do attitude – no two days are ever the same!
