KC Group are recruiting on behalf of a client for Student Support and Attendance Officers based in the Leeds area. This is a 6-week placement with the potential to be extended beyond this period. The role is paying an hourly rate of £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience), working Monday–Friday across a rota shift pattern.

Working hours will include:

  • Morning shifts: 8:45am – 5:00pm
  • Evening shifts: 1:00pm – 8:00pm (Student Hub open until 8pm)

Rotating pattern of 2 morning shifts & 3 evening shifts, or 3 morning shifts & 2 evening shifts per week.

You’ll be the first point of contact for students, providing clear, empathetic support across in-person, phone, email, live chat, and messaging platforms. Working as part of a proactive team, you’ll handle student enquiries, offer guidance, and refer complex issues to specialist teams to ensure an excellent student experience.

Key responsibilities of the Student Support and Attendance Officer role include:

  • Responding to student queries promptly and professionally
  • Monitoring attendance and advising on absence-related matters
  • Supporting student wellbeing and identifying safeguarding concerns
  • Managing student data and contributing to reporting
  • Coordinating campus activities and events
