We are working exclusively with a growing commercial property practice that is looking to appoint a Commercial Surveyor to join its expanding team across Solihull and Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor looking to develop their career within a growing practice, with a varied workload and strong exposure to valuation, landlord and tenant matters and wider professional surveying instructions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of professional instructions, including:
- Commercial property valuations
- Landlord and tenant matters
- General professional surveying instructions
- Client advisory and reporting
- Acquisition and consultancy work
- Direct client interaction and relationship management
Valuation and professional work will form a key part of the role, with responsibilities tailored to the successful candidate's existing experience and longer-term professional development objectives.
This is a client-facing position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of instructions and build strong relationships with clients.
We are keen to hear from surveyors who can demonstrate:
- Strong analytical, valuation and report-writing skills
- MRICS status is preferred but not essential
- Commercial awareness and sound professional judgement
- A genuine interest in valuation and professional surveying
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- A proactive approach to professional development
Candidates currently transitioning into commercial property will also be considered where there is clear progress towards professional qualification.
