The Marketing & PR Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated brand, performance, PR, and email marketing initiatives across Europe for Kate Spade New York. This role is instrumental in ensuring consistent and compelling brand execution across all consumer touchpoints, supporting both always-on activity and campaign-led initiatives in partnership with global and regional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Brand & Integrated Marketing
- Act as a key day-to-day marketing contact, supporting the Brand & Media Manager across brand, media, and campaign-related tasks.
- Support the localisation and execution of global marketing frameworks into market-relevant activations.
- Maintain strong brand guardianship, ensuring consistency of brand messaging, visuals, and tone across all channels.
- Coordinate creative collateral development, asset management, and distribution across teams and partners.
- Manage cross-functional marketing calendars to ensure alignment across brand, media, retail, ecommerce, and CRM.
- Performance Marketing & Media Support
- Support execution and reporting of paid media and performance marketing activity in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
- Assist with media plan coordination, timelines, asset delivery, and post-campaign reporting.
- Act as a point of contact with local media agencies and external vendors.
- PR & Communications
- Support PR planning and execution, including coordination with agencies, press calendars, and regional storytelling.
- Support with gifting from end-to-end (e.g. outreach, communications, wrapping and couriers).
- Support with the creation of seasonal look-books, sample ordering, gifting orders and weekly PR mailers to our database.
- Ensure PR activity aligns with broader brand and marketing priorities.
- Email & CRM Marketing
- Support the development and execution of regional email and CRM calendars, aligned to local moments and commercial priorities.
- Assist in briefing, reviewing, approving, and testing email and SMS campaigns in line with brand guidelines and deadlines.
- Coordinate with email developers, translation agencies, and regional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Administration & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate marketing administration including invoicing, purchase orders, payments, and asset filing.
- Maintain organised documentation of marketing plans, approvals, imagery, and reporting.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams across marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, and global HQ.
- Support regular status updates and communication with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing, brand, CRM, or communications role (internship or full-time).
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- High level of proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience or strong interest in email/CRM marketing and customer lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of digital, media, or performance marketing best practices.
- Understanding of, or exposure to retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
- Previous experience working with agencies (media, PR, email, creative) is a plus.
- Familiarity with campaign management tools (e.g. Workfront or similar).
- German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
- Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Curious and eager to learn across multiple marketing disciplines.
- Confident working cross-functionally and across regions.
- Comfortable balancing creative brand work with performance-driven marketing.
