The predicted salary is between 21500 - 23500 Β£ per year.
Shift Pattern: Standard hours 8:30am β 5:00pm. Shifts can be split into half days to meet service needs. On a 4-week rotation, Band 3 staff will be required to cover one evening clinic (5:30pm β 8:30pm). This will form part of a long day shift.

What you will do
Under the delegation and supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, the health care support worker will carry out all of the delegated duties listed in the main responsibilities section below independently within the health care team. The post holder will provide the fundamentals of care and extended skills to patients in the outpatient department to ensure high standards are maintained in a safe environment including patient safety and to make sure that the care experience is positive by treating all patients, family, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity and courtesy in accordance with Trust values and policies.
Job responsibilities include:
- Patient client care
- A range of duties outlined in the band 3 training framework, with supervision and training as appropriate before performing any delegated skill.
Requirements
Essential:
- Care certificate (with evidence of completion)
- QCF or NVQ Level 2 in a health-related subject
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Significant experience in healthcare including outpatient departments
Desirable:
- Experience in Gynaecology outpatients
Other:
