Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering queries, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and food delivery.
• Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and cash handling as required.
• Support fellow team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
• Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards customers and colleagues.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within the culinary field.

Pay: £7.85-£12.51 per hour
