Kasmir Associates is hiring for a rapidly expanding product-based business in Stamford Hill within an office-based environment. Your role will be to manage both computerised and manual stock operations daily.

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining stock levels: Optimising inventory procedures and ensuring a seamless flow of products within our organization.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain precise records of incoming and outgoing products, aligning inventory levels with sales and demand.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment orders to prevent stock shortages while minimising excess inventory.
  • Order Fulfilment: Fulfil customer orders.
  • Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to uphold established standards.
  • Forecasting: Carry out stock analysis, historical data trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving inventory turnover and reducing carrying costs.
  • Reporting: Generate regular and ad hoc reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other pertinent metrics for management review.
  • Liaising with Suppliers: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to track order status, lead times, and resolve any issues.
  • Returns Management: Manage returns, defective products, and warranty claims with proper documentation and resolution.
  • Warehouse Optimisation: Optimise warehouse and stock room space through efficient storage and layout strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal inventory management policies.
  • Workflow Management: Manage inventory management workflow and propose and implement solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory/stock management, stock control, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is highly advantageous.
  • Stock forecasting and analysis experience.
  • Experience of managing suppliers.
  • Able to commute to Stamford Hill daily.
  • Proficient at identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing process improvements.
  • Confident user of MS Excel, stock management/inventory software experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy in record-keeping and stock management.
