A highly regarded and established manufacturingcompany is currently seeking a Production Planner to join their team. Manage & forecasting manufactured stock Levels: Monitor and maintain stock to ensure smooth production flow.
Negotiating the cost of materials and making sure it purchased in the most cost-effective way
Negotiate Material Costs: Work on sourcing materials at the most cost-effective prices.
Conduct Analysis: Perform cost and trend analysis for manufactured products.
Raise Work Orders: Create and manage work orders to ensure timely production.
Collaborate Across Departments: Ensure strong communication with Finance, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams.
Deal with suppliers, and managing and negotiating on acrylic material
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Production planning, demand planning or supply chain experience within manufacturing is ideal
Knowledge of Sage manufacturing system or similar is advantageous
- Excellent MS Excel skills, able to understand pivot tables, formulas and other features
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities.
