As a Warehouse & Recycling Operative, you will be involved in the daily operations of the yard, ensuring materials are correctly graded, sorted, and stored safely & efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Grade, sort and process Scrap Metal.
- Dealing with Merchant suppliers and public trade.
- Team Working, ensuring good communication and adhering to instructions.
- Operate handling equipment and FLT where trained.
- Maintain site housekeeping and ensure working areas are always clean and tidy.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Required Experience
- FLT licence (In-house or RTITB).
- Reliable attendance record, with strong work ethics.
- Health & Safety awareness.
Desired experience (not essential)
- Experience in scrap metal recycling.
- Has knowledge of non-ferrous metals.
- Plant machinery operation (Eg: Material handler, Loading Shovel).
