The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 ÂŁ per year.
Ensure timely and effective implementation of all returnee support and earthquake-response activities—including assessments, beneficiary identification, community mobilization, distributions, and monitoring—through clear weekly and monthly work plans.
Supervise and facilitate smooth delivery of services and assistance packages to vulnerable returnees and earthquake-affected families in targeted communities.
Lead and support the collection of data and information related to community needs, vulnerabilities, earthquake impacts, and other protection or humanitarian concerns.
Work closely with program and technical teams to ensure proper planning, implementation, and coordination of all project activities in both provinces.
Assist the Senior Management Team in developing work plans, progress reports, monitoring tools, and evaluation documents to ensure effective project delivery.
Ensure required resources—logistics, documentation, staffing, and supplies—are available and properly utilized for program implementation.
Coordinate with government departments, UN agencies, partners, community elders, and local authorities to strengthen field-level coordination for both returnee operations and earthquake-response activities.
Participate in and lead field monitoring missions to track progress, verify beneficiary lists, assess activity quality, and identify gaps or risks.
Provide technical and operational support to field teams to ensure activities are delivered as per guidelines, SOPs, and accountability standards.
Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting of project activities, beneficiary data, and results to IR Afghanistan and relevant stakeholders.
Contribute to proposal development—including field inputs, activity design, beneficiary data, and narrative writing—for future returnee and emergency response interventions.
Review and provide feedback on programmatic and technical sections of project documents to ensure consistency with field realities.
Support the development of knowledge‑sharing tools, lessons‑learned documents, best practices, and improved processes for returnee and earthquake‑response programming.
Prepare and submit detailed activity plans, field reports, monitoring updates, and progress summaries to the Project Coordinator as per schedule.
Provide verbal and written updates to supervisors regarding achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Maintain an accurate beneficiary database for all activities conducted in Nangarhar and Kunar, ensuring proper documentation and data quality.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the Line Manager to support successful implementation of returnee and earthquake‑response projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Disaster Management, Public Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree is an advantage.)
Experience
3–4 years of relevant experience in humanitarian or development programs, preferably with international or reputable national organizations.
Strong experience in managing returnee, emergency response, earthquake, or community‑based projects.
Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari, and English.
