Main responsibilities- As a member of the London based investment team, you will actively contribute to the origination and execution of transactions, from sourcing opportunities through to structuring and closing.
- You will be expected to assume significant levels of responsibility, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, leadership, and strong analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of, or a genuine passion for, the maritime transportation industry is considered a strong asset.
- Financial and strategic analysis of investment projects: conduct of due diligence - sectorial and company specific, corporate analysis, ESG assessment.
- Financial structuring and modelling.
- Elaboration of investment memorandums, term-sheets and structuring of transactions.
- Execution of transactions as deal leader.
- Portfolio follow-up and management.
- Maintaining strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders (brokers, experts, banks, lawyers, etc.).
- Take part to fundraising Q&As.
- Help lead bespoke projects related to the investments (portfolio monitoring, performance assessment, etc.).
- Strong multitasking ability.
- Similar experience of 1 to 3 years in maritime structured finance or private debt funds (asset finance, private debt, infrastructure debt, project finance).
- End to end transaction experience within structured finance.
- Modelling and financial analysis skills.
- Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness.
