We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Housing Association seeking a Supported Housing Officer to join their team on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents living within supported accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality housing and tenancy management services to residents in supported housing schemes.
- Manage rent accounts and work proactively with customers to sustain successful tenancies.
- Conduct tenancy visits, property inspections, and support plan reviews.
- Build effective relationships with support providers and partner agencies.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Provide person-centred support to residents with a range of support needs.
- Ensure compliance with housing policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within housing management and/or supported housing services.
- Experience working with vulnerable residents and individuals requiring additional support.
- Strong understanding of tenancy management and resident engagement.
- Excellent communication and case management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or issued within the last 12 months.
