Lettings Team Leader
We are working with a well-established housing organisation to recruit an experienced Lettings Team Leader to lead a busy lettings function and drive high standards of customer service and operational performance.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced housing professional who enjoys leading people, improving processes and delivering results. YOU MUST HAVE SOCIAL HOUSING EXPERIENCE
The Role
You will lead a team of Lettings Officers and Administrators, overseeing the effective allocation and re-letting of properties while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading, coaching and developing the lettings team.
- Managing tenancy terminations and allocations through to successful re-let.
- Working with internal teams to reduce void periods and rent loss.
- Building strong relationships with Local Authority and external partners.
- Monitoring KPIs, performance and quality standards.
- Managing complex and high-risk allocations, including safeguarding considerations.
- Supporting complaints, reviews and transfer processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and customer outcomes.
- Producing and analysing lettings and void performance data.
- Promoting a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
About You
You'll have proven experience within housing lettings or allocations, together with experience of leading, coaching or supervising a team.

The Opportunity
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working from the office around 2β3 days per week, alongside home working, meetings and site visits as required.
