This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of planned investment delivery, regulatory compliance, and performance optimisation across a large and varied housing portfolio. 🏘️ The Role: As the Asset Investment Manager, you will play a central role in delivering efficient, compliant, and value-focused asset investment projects. Leading a team of surveyors, analysts, and project staff, you\’ll manage data-driven planning and oversee capital works, major repairs, and service improvements in alignment with strategic business objectives. You’ll also be responsible for compliance with key housing standards and health and safety legislation, while driving innovation in property condition management and procurement practices. 🔧 Key Duties: * Lead the development and implementation of planned maintenance and investment strategies. * Manage property condition surveys and ensure robust data underpins long-term planning. * Coordinate the response to significant repair issues, disrepair cases, and environmental risks such as mould. * Oversee procurement and performance of contractors and consultants with a focus on quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency. * Support business planning by producing regular reporting and financial forecasting. * Ensure alignment with Decent Homes, HHSRS, CDM 2015, and other housing-related regulatory frameworks. * Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, residents, and senior leadership teams. ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile: * Ideally you will be professional qualifications in surveying or property (e.g., NVQ Level 4, HND); MRICS or RICS * Experience managing planned investment or asset management programmes within housing or local government. * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and external providers. * Familiarity with asset databases such as Keystone, and confident using data to drive decisions. * Excellent understanding of compliance, legislation, and health & safety requirements within property services. * Financially astute with budget and KPI management experience. 🚘 Other Essentials: * Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. * Flexibility to provide occasional supervisory cover or support outside standard hours. 🌟 What’s on Offer?
