We are working with a respected charitable organisation seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner to support its Operations and Resources functions. This is a commercially focused partnering role, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality management information, budgeting support, and financial insight.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and forecasting
- Business partnering with budget holders across Operations and Resources
- Annual budget preparation and ongoing monitoring
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Support for statutory accounts and audit queries
- Performance reporting, KPIs and sector scorecard analysis
- Improving financial processes and supporting system integrity
Requirements:
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or exceptional finalist
- Strong management accounts and budgeting experience
- Proven business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
- Able to manage deadlines and competing priorities
Desirable:
- Experience in not-for-profit, housing, or regulated environment
- Knowledge of FRS102
- Advanced Excel
