Kartel Music Group is seeking a freelance Design & Creative Production Specialist to support ongoing creative output across artist and label campaigns and internal brand activity. This is a hands-on execution role, focused on the creation, editing and repurposing of visual assets across digital platforms. This role is centred on consistent, high-quality delivery of creative assets at pace. We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving campaign environments, understands music marketing workflows, and can deliver polished, platform-native creative.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Core Focus: Execution & Delivery
- Editing and re-purposing existing creative assets for digital music campaigns
- Creating platform-specific content for:
- Instagram / TikTok / YouTube
- Meta Ads / YouTube Ads
- DSPs (Spotify Canvas, Apple Motion)
- Shopify product page visuals and mock-ups (vinyl, CD, merch)
- Website updates and visual edits (Squarespace)
- Social content and internal brand assets
- Podcast edits and supporting visual content
- eCRM (Mailchimp) creative assets
- Pitch deck formatting and design alignment
- YouTube thumbnails, visualisers and long-form content edits
- Digital ad creative (cut-downs, re-edits, formatting for platforms)
- Social asset repurposing from existing campaign materials
- Lyric videos (basic to intermediate)
- Visualisers and simple motion graphics
- Spotify Canvas and short-form video loops
- Artwork adaptation (resizing, versioning, localisation)
- Photo editing and content optimisation
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Essentials:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience working on artists, labels or music marketing campaigns
- Strong design and asset creation skills (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
- Video editing capability (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects)
- Motion graphics and basic animation skills
- Deep understanding of social-first content formats and trends
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and file/version management
- Comfortable working from existing assets and briefs
- Experience with Shopify / Squarespace
- Understanding of physical music formats (vinyl/CD artwork)
- Experience with merch, product design and re-pro
- Experience delivering assets for paid media campaigns
- Advanced animation skills
WORKING STRUCTURE
- Freelance contractor role
- Monthly retainer: 20–30 hours per month
- Rate: DOE
- Flexible workload depending on campaign activity
- Ongoing relationship with Kartel’s marketing and label teams
- Remote - UK only / London office
- Outside IR35
