Production Artworker - Freelance

We are currently looking for a Freelance Production Artworker for our office in Maidenhead, UK.

What you’ll be doing

• Translating design concepts into print-ready artwork files using Adobe Creative Cloud (Ai, Id, Psd), ensuring exceptional quality and consistency across all packaging formats.
• Creating and adapting global master artworks for a diverse range of SKUs and packaging types, supporting rollouts across multiple markets.
• Working closely with brand managers, designers, supply leads, and external print partners to maintain high-quality standards and brand consistency.
• Contributing to the development of our in-house artwork capabilities, embedding collaboration and design culture within our growing ‘Design Tribe’.
• Ensuring artworks meet stringent regulatory and production requirements, including file preparation for GMG proofing and knowledge sharing with the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production artwork experience, ideally in FMCG, consumer healthcare, or other regulated sectors.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and artwork management systems (GLAMS or similar).
• Strong understanding of print production processes, substrates, and packaging formats—especially in regulated markets.
• Proven track record of creating high-quality vector and graphic artwork, with exceptional attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Highly collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Passionate about print quality, design consistency, and bringing creative concepts to life in a fast-moving environment.
