Karntek Ltd, a leading fire safety consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessor to join our expert team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing safety practices and ensuring compliance across a diverse range of clients and properties.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting detailed fire risk assessments for a variety of building types, providing expert analysis of fire safety measures
  • Leading and mentoring junior assessors, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the team's capabilities
  • Preparing thorough fire risk assessment reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans tailored to client needs
  • Engaging with clients, property managers, and stakeholders to communicate assessment results and support the implementation of safety measures
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Level 4 qualification in Fire Risk Assessments
  • Minimum 2 years experience in conducting risk assessments
  • Significant experience in fire risk assessment, ideally with a proven track record in a senior or leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a field-based role
  • Flexible to travel and conduct assessments across the Central and Greater London area
  • Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • DBS Enhanced Check required (arranged by Karntek)
  • NEBOSH or other Health & Safety qualifications are advantageous
