As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Executive to help us build new relationships, identify opportunities and support our continued success.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you'll play an important role in supporting the growth of the business by identifying and developing relationships with prospective and existing clients.
A significant part of the role will involve proactively contacting new organisations, identifying the appropriate decision-makers, introducing Karntek and exploring whether there may be a requirement for our fire safety and compliance services.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help raise awareness of our services, identify new opportunities and contribute to our ongoing growth plans.
You'll engage with a wide range of organisations and professionals across multiple sectors through telephone conversations, follow-up communication, client meetings, networking events and industry activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Identify and engage with new business opportunities across our target sectors.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry meetings.
- Arrange and participate in client meetings and introductory discussions.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and business development materials.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activities within company systems.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support business growth initiatives.

About You
We're looking for someone who is confident, personable and comfortable approaching new organisations and starting conversations with people they haven't spoken to before.
You’ll need to be proactive and resilient, with the confidence to pick up the phone, engage prospective clients and create opportunities from an initial conversation.
Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, telephone-based business development, lead generation or customer-facing sales would be advantageous, although attitude, communication skills and a willingness to learn are equally important.
