We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Website and User Experience Executive to lead the development of our digital presence. This role will be at the forefront of refining and improving our digital touchpoints to create exceptional user experiences; ensuring that our websites are not only visually appealing but also functional, accessible, and aligned with user needs. This role will also include email marketing; creating proactive digital email marketing campaigns and managing our automated/transactional email journeys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in website and email management, analytics, and user-centered design principles.
How You Will Contribute
- Website Management
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our brand websites to ensure a high-performing, user-friendly experience.
- Collaborate with internal digital, external web agency and senior SEO & analytics executive to ensure the website is optimised for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and usability.
- Ensure our websites align with company branding, business goals, and user needs; collaborating with marketing channels.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve any technical issues, broken links, or design flaws.
- Develop A/B testing strategies and conduct experiments to optimise website elements (e.g., page layouts, calls to action, etc.)
- User Experience
- By meticulously analysing user behaviour and collaborating with internal teams, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making to shape the customer journey and a best-in-class experience.
- Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing, to gather insights and feedback for informed improvements.
- Regular reporting on user behaviour with insights from SEMrush and Hotjar.
- Collaborate with Senior SEO & Analytics Executive on new development to support enhancements to our user experience.
- Work closely with internal/external sales teams to gain offline user insights.
- Project Management and Content Creation
- Create new content in response to user behaviour and drive proactive change working with PR & digital manager.
- Work closely with marketing channels and global digital team to deliver new product launches and ad-hoc marketing campaigns across our brand websites.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with marketing channels to implement digital marketing strategies that enhance the website's performance.
- Act as the liaison between marketing channels and global digital/external web agency to ensure seamless execution of web-related projects.
- Ensure all website updates are communicated effectively across teams and stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of changes, progress, and impacts.
- Accessibility & Compliance
- Ensure that the website complies with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to cater to all users.
- Stay updated on web compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ensure the website adheres to the necessary legal and privacy standards.
- Email Marketing Management & Analysis
- Work closely with PR & digital manager and marketing channels to create proactive email marketing campaigns in line with our content strategy and business requirements.
- Regular review of performance and reporting to marketing channels.
- Conduct regular audits of automated email journeys and work with senior SEO & analytics executive to make proactive recommendations.
What Will Make You Successful in This Role
- Proven website and UX expertise: You have hands-on experience managing websites, designing user experiences, or working in a similar digital role.
- Content management systems proficiency: Comfortable using content management systems such as Episerver and others.
- Data-driven mindset: Skilled with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar platforms to track and optimize performance.
- SEO knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how they drive website traffic and engagement.
- UX research experience: Experienced in A/B testing, user testing, and other methods to improve the user journey.
- Effective communicator: Able to clearly present ideas and recommendations to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
