We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This position is well-suited to a an enthusiastic individual who is looking to work as part of a team with an efficient output focus.
This position is based in the Warehouse Department. As a Warehouse Operative you will report to the Shift Leader, will carry out all day to day warehouse functions and tasks in an efficient and timely manner, while following and promoting good health and safety.
Hourly pay = £13.25 increasing to £14.02 following successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, assemble and load orders for internal and external customers, using an RF system and paper-based orders.
- Operate 3 types of warehouse vehicles LLOP, Reach Truck and Counterbalance (full training will be given).
- Pack orders to standard ensuring safe loads and wrap pallets by hand or wrapping machine
- Loading and unloading trailers, containers and vans.
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all Health and Safety standards,
- Operate a clean as you go policy ensuring you follow recycling and environmental policies.
- Maintain the quality of the product by employing high standards of product care at all times in order to protect the brand and integrity of products.
- Comply with the company audit trial by fully and correctly filling out all paperwork.
- Create an organic environment to fuel change & continuous improvement.
- Maintain open lines of communication, keeping all internal and external customers aware of any service issues.
- To carry out any other reasonable task given by a Shift Leader, Shift Planner or the Operations Manager.

- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- LLOP, Reach Truck and or Counterbalance experience preferred -(full training will be given).
