What you'll do on a typical week of 37.5 hrs:
- As a main point of contact for the leadership team, you will drive the people agenda to achieve all the sites and business commitments.
- Provide full HR generalist support and advice to colleagues, ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Take the lead on complex ER issues.
- Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the team.
- Lead, coach and develop HR policies and be responsible for all people processes during the lifecycle of an employee.
- Ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility in respect of workplace ethics, legal, environmental, security and Health and Safety.
What you need to succeed:
- Desired: Proven experience in the Beauty Sector.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels.
- Willingness to travel to other business sites.
- Essential: UK University Master level degree.
- Interpersonal skills with a strong command of languages – Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi and English.
- Conversational skills in Farsi and Pashto.
- Practiced in dealing with a multilingual team and sound knowledge of cross-culture.
- Adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment.
- Able to work and audit sites around Newcastle upon Tyne.
Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of circa £41K to £55K and receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option for hybrid working to enjoy a positive work-life balance. Sponsorship can be provided to suitable overseas candidates.
