RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKER

On behalf of my clientwe are recruiting for aRESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKERto join their organisation within the Southport area.Experience of working with children and their families in some capacity, and have your NVQ Level III/ Diploma Level 3 – Working with Children and Young People or a recognised Social Work Qualification.

The salary is 8.61 per hour with a fantastic rate of £46.25 per sleep in.

You will be required to maintain the development of positive childcare practice in keeping with the aims and objectives of my Client. To provide a safe, warm and supportive environment for the young resident. Carry out duties in line with policies and equal opportunities. To comply with company rules, policies and practices of the establishment and to respond to emergencies which may arise within the establishment. To foster and encourage, whenever appropriate contact between residents and their families. Promote and encourage learning by the young people and to work with the young people on educational activities within the programme of education devised by my client.
