Field-based | Executive Leadership Role | Medical Devices
We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to lead and shape our UK commercial strategy within a regulated medical devices environment. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for revenue growth, market share expansion and commercial excellence, leading a sizeable, multi-disciplinary commercial organisation across Human Medicine, Surgical Solutions and Veterinary markets.
About the Role
- Set and execute the UK commercial and sales strategy, aligned to global objectives
- Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing commercial leadership team and national sales organisation
- Drive sustainable growth across established and emerging market segments
- Own UK commercial P&L performance, including revenue, margin and cost control
- Build strong partnerships with key healthcare groups, clinical stakeholders and commercial partners
- Represent the UK business within a global, matrix organisation
- Embed a culture of performance, accountability, compliance and talent development
This role reports directly to the Vice President, Northern Europe, and plays a key role in shaping broader business strategy.
About You
You are a commercially astute, values-led leader with:
- Significant senior commercial leadership experience within a medical devices, clinical or highly regulated environment
- A strong track record of leading large sales teams and delivering growth
- Experience managing complex customers, major accounts and commercial partnerships
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on leadership capability
- Executive presence, excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A passion for developing people and building high-performance teams
A degree is required; an MBA or formal leadership qualification is advantageous.
