Are you ready to lead and shape a brighter future for children? Karisla Limited is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to take the reins of a newly repurposed children’s residential home. This is a unique opportunity to design and lead a specialist service, catering to the needs of a smaller group of children. In this role, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team of specialists across HR, Recruitment, Referrals, Marketing, Maintenance, Finance, Clinical, Legal, Commercial, Learning and Development, and IT. You will also benefit from the support and guidance of a proactive Responsible Individual and a Residential Director with hands-on experience.

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding care, ensuring children achieve positive outcomes
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including service development and strategic planning
- Lead and mentor your team, fostering a therapeutic and supportive environment
- Manage budgets and financial performance effectively
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide tailored care for each child
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment (complex care, solo)
- Qualifications: Level 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, and working towards or completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s legislation
- A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach
- Experience in managing budgets and financial planning
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work on call when required
