About Us
At KareHero, we're transforming how people navigate and manage care. We partner with employers to support their employees, and with financial institutions to provide care support to their customers and members. As a well-established startup, we're scaling up fast and need an ambitious, proactive, and entrepreneurial Account Executive (AE) to help us grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Account Executive (AE), you'll be responsible for driving new business growth across KareHero's employer and consumer propositions. You'll work with employers looking to support their employees, as well as financial institutions looking to provide KareHero to their customers and members. You'll own opportunities from the initial prospecting and relationship-building through to commercial conversations, negotiation and closing.
You'll work closely with the sales, strategy and marketing teams to identify high-value opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop creative strategies to win new business. As an early-stage startup, you'll have significant autonomy and the opportunities to help shape our sales strategy, process and future go-to-market approach.
We are looking for someone who is commercially astute, entrepreneurial and energised by building relationships and turning opportunities into revenue.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and target high-value accounts across the employer, employee benefits and financial services markets, including retail banks and insurers.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, partnerships, and inbound leads.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified commercial opportunities, taking ownership of account and territory plans.
Relationship management & Consultative Selling
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers within enterprises, including Proposition and Partnerships teams, HR leaders, to understand their challenges and priorities.
- Lead discovery conversations, understand customer needs, and position KareHero's services around clear commercial value.
- Engage multiple stakeholders within target organisations and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Own opportunities from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations, lead commercial discussions, manage objections, and negotiate contracts where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and clear visibility of pipeline, opportunity stages, and expected revenue.
- Own and maintain accurate CRM data in HubSpot, ensuring opportunities, contacts, activities, and pipeline stages are consistently managed.
- Use sales and pipeline data to prioritise opportunities and identify ways to improve performance.
- Stay close to developments across the employer, employee benefits and financial services markets, using insights to refine ICPs, target accounts, and buyer personas across both propositions.
- Share customer and market insights to inform product, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
Collaboration, Resilience & Growth
- Work closely with marketing to develop messaging, campaigns, content, and account-based approaches that generate commercial opportunities.
- Share market and customer insights to continuously improve our proposition and sales approach.
- Contribute to weekly sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Bring your own ideas and proactively identify ways to improve our sales process and commercial performance.

- Proven Track Record: A track record of generating and closing new business with senior stakeholders. Experience selling into HR, Benefits or People teams and/or financial institutions would be advantageous;

- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial prospect engagement through to negotiation and close.
- Establish a repeatable business development approach, identifying which channels, messaging, and outreach strategies generate the strongest commercial results.
