Senior Care Assistant required for Castle Donington, Diseworth, Kegworth, Hemington, Sutton Bonington, Long Whatton and surrounding areas.
Salary: £9.50 per hour | £14.25 Bank Holidays + paid mileage + 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata) + QCF training + free uniform.
This job involves traveling from home to home, so you must have access to a vehicle. The hours are flexible as care is provided at various times of the day, seven days a week.

Responsibilities and Duties of being a Senior Care Assistant at Kare Plus:
- Taking part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota as and when required.
- Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues.
- Being able to cover calls either directly or indirectly when Care Assistant calls in sick or absent.
- Keeping a record of emergency calls and reporting to the office next day.
- Able to motivate and lead others in a care setting.
- Encouraging residents to have the highest quality of life.
- Promoting independence and choice in their life.
- Respecting and accepting residents' social, emotional, sexual, religious, cultural and political needs.
- Experience of writing care plans and risk assessments would be advantageous.
- Shadow new care workers in the field to ensure their competence.
- Helping residents with their daily lives such as assisting with eating and drinking, personal hygiene, recreational activities, accompanying residents outside of the home etc.
